This operation must be carried out
strictly following the instructions
given by the manufacturer
(steelworks).
In any event, follow the suggestions
below, especially in the absence
of instructions from
manufacturer:
1 - Always stand at the side and
never at the front
2 - Use suitable
protection devices (PPD),
protective gloves and face
masks.
3 - Always stand with the face as
far away as possible from the
cutting area.
4 - Use special shears with very
long handles.
5 - Always stand with the face as

6 - Carry out the cutting operation
slowly.
Because of the whiplash that may
be generated, this operation in any
case implies high residual risks for
the persons exposed, such as
knocking, cutting, abrasion and
crushing.
WARNING!
After cutting the packing straps or
ties, the coil will move suddenly
due to the effect of elasticity and
this may generate dangerous
situations for the persons exposed.
Some spirals may unwind resulting
in the end of the coil moving, which
by its nature is twisted and sharp.
This is a source of danger to the
persons exposed and carries
residual risks of knocking, cutting
and abrasion.
Tale operazione deve essere ese-
guita seguendo scrupolosamente
le istruzioni date dal produttore
(acciaieria).
Usare in ogni caso i seguenti sug-
gerimenti, soprattutto in assenza

Questa operazione per via del col-
po di frusta che può generarsi com-
porta in ogni caso dei gravi rischi
residui per le persone esposte,
come urto, taglio, abrasione e
schiacciamento.
ATTENZIONE !
Al termine della operazione di ta-
glio delle reggette o dei legacci di
confezionamento, la bobina si
muoverà improvvisamente per ef-
fetto dell'elasticità e questo fatto
potrebbe generare situazioni di
pericolo per le persone esposte.
Potrebbero svolgersi alcune spire
portando in movimento il capo della
bobina che, per sua natura, si pre-
senta ritorto e tagliente. Ciò è fon-
te di pericolo per le persone espo-
ste e questo comporta dei rischi
residui di urto taglio ed abrasione.
