Pressure Sensor Test (in Standard Indication and Veress Mode)

1. Set the Standard indication.
2. Select a nominal gas flow rate of 1.0 l/min.
Do not press the START/STOP button.
CAUTION!
Never use the syringe to extract gas from the device.
3. Connect a manometer and an air-filled syringe to the insufflation tube con-
nection.
4. Use the syringe to generate a pressure of at least 10 mmHg, which is indicat-
ed on the manometer.
Actual pressure display: 10 ±2 (mmHg)
5. Use the syringe to generate a pressure of at least 20 mmHg, which is indicat-
ed on the manometer.
Actual pressure display: 20 ±2 (mmHg)
6. Use the syringe to generate a pressure of at least 30 mmHg, which is indicat-
ed on the manometer.
Actual pressure display: 30 ±2 (mmHg)

Pressure Monitoring Test (in Standard Indication and Veress
Mode)
1. Set the Standard indication.
2. Select a nominal pressure of 15 mmHg and a nominal gas flow of 3 l/min.
3. Activate the Venting Valve in the user menu.
4. Use the syringe to generate a pressure of at least 27 mmHg and maximum
30 mmHg, indicated on the manometer. Start insufflation: Press the START
button. A acoustic signal is emitted (for 5 s) and the display depicts Overpres-
sure if the pressure exceeds 19 mmHg.
5. Reduce the pressure. The warning ends when the pressure falls below
19 mmHg (nominal pressure plus 4 mmHg). Stop insufflation: Press the STOP
button.
6. Select a nominal pressure of 29 mmHg.
7. Use the syringe to generate a pressure of at least 30 mmHg, which is indicat-
ed on the manometer. Start insufflation: Press the START button. An acoustic
signal is emitted with a pressure of more than 30 mmHg and the display de-
