Gas Supply
The status of the gas supply is monitored by the device and indicated with sym-
bols and acoustic signals (beeps).
The following gas bottle pressures are displayed:
> 50 bar/725.8 psi
50 bar/725.8 psi - 30 bar/435.1 psi
30 bar/435.1 psi - 15 bar/217.5 psi
15 bar/217.5 psi - 5 bar /72.5 psi. Acoustic signals can be heard and
the message Change gas tank is displayed. User is advised to pre-
pare for changing the gas bottle.
< 5 bar /72.5 psi. Acoustic signals can be heard and the message
Change gas tank is displayed. Replace the gas bottle.
0 bar / 0 psi. Acoustic signals can be heard and the message Check
gas supply! Insufflation paused! is displayed. Immediately replace
the gas bottle.
The following symbols are displayed for the house supply gas pressures:
Central gas supply pressure OK
(green)
Central gas supply pressure too low
Beeps are emitted and the following message appears at a supply
pressure of <2.7 bar: Check gas supply!

Switching Device On
1. Connect the device with the mains power.
2. Connect the gas supply to the gas connection port and open the gas supply.
3. Press the ON/OFF switch. The power LED lights up green when the device is
turned on.

4. The device performs an automatic self-test after being switched on. If the
self-test is not successful, the corresponding error message will be displayed
(see chapter 12 Error and Warning Messages).
5. The language selection is displayed when starting the device the first time.
