7.1
The "Profiles" menu item is used to create a personal profile for the user. The
(1) preferences for the starting pressure, start gas flow, brightness, volume, and tim-
er for the smoke evacuation system can be stored. You can also create profiles for
the indications: Standard, Bariatric, Pediatric, Fieldflooding, and Vessel Harvest-
ing. These settings have priority over the default settings for this indication.

Selecting a profile takes place after selecting the indication on the selection pag-
es Standard, Bariatric, Pediatric or Cardio (see chapter 5.8.3 Profiles).
Starting pressure: Nominal pressure to be reached at the start of insufflation
(setting range is based on the indication).
Starting gas flow rate: Nominal gas flow rate to be reached at the start of insuf-
flation (setting range is based on the indication).
Brightness: Brightness of the user's screen (20 %, 40 %, 60 %, 80 %, 100 %).
Volume Volume of warning sounds (20 %, 40 %, 60 %, 80 %, 100 %).
Smoke evac timer: Time interval after which the smoke evacuation automatically
is switched from 12 l/min to 6 l/min (1 to 30 min or indefinitely).

1. Select the menu item "Profiles" in the user menu.
2. In the Profiles menu, press the (+) button (see (1) Fig. 7-1 Profiles display).
3. Enter the profile name using the screen keyboard and continue with the ar-
