Using the Smoke Evacuation Function

Smoke evacuation function may increase the CO
room.
• Ensure sufficient supply of fresh air and use the smoke extraction function
only if it is necessary.
The device is equipped with a vacuum pump. The vacuum pump is used for
smoke evacuation by means of a disposable tube set and a smoke evacuation fil-
ter cassette.
An additional feature of the device is smoke evacuation from the body cavity. For
this purpose, use a disposable tube set for the smoke evacuation and a smoke
evacuation filter cassette.

charcoal filter for the smoke filtering)

Disposable tube set for smoke evacuation, sterile with filter,
which serves to remove moisture or liquid from the evacuated
gas.
To enable this function, press the 6 l / min or 12 l / min button in the Smoke Evac-
uation field depending on the intensity of evacuation that you need. Smoke evac-
uation can be set manually to 6 l / min or 12 l / min.
The Smoke Evacuation function can be switched on with the foot control switch
or switched off (see chapter 14 Accessories). Connect the foot control switch to
the connection for the foot control switch on the front panel (see Fig. 4-1 Device
front).
The nominal gas flow setting must be higher than the smoke evacuation value;
otherwise the efficiency of the evacuation is limited.
The smoke evacuation function is not available during the cardio indication.
