Resetting the display

WARNING!
Never work with a leaky insufflation tube, accessory, and/or device. This can
lead to an incorrect measurement of the actual pressure values, which can cause
an uncontrolled pressure increase in the abdomen.
Choose desired indication, pressure and flow settings and continue with proce-
dure.
5.10 Gas Consumption Display
The gas consumption display indicates the insufflated volume of CO
consumed since the last resetting of the display.
The gas consumption display can be reset to 0.0 during running or stopped insuf-
flation.

5.11 Starting/Stopping Insufflation
Depending on the insufflation status, either the START or the STOP button is dis-
played.
Starting insufflation:
The START key is displayed when insufflation is stopped.
Press this key to start insufflation.
The actual gas flow is depicted numerically and with a graphical bar. Here, the ac-
tual gas flow rate will range between zero and the set nominal gas flow rate. The
actual pressure in the body cavity is depicted numerically and with a graphical
bar. In this case, the actual pressure starting at zero approaches the set nominal
pressure. Once the actual pressure in the body cavity reaches the nominal pres-
sure, the actual gas flow rate is almost zero, since only the amount of gas re-
quired to maintain the pressure must be refilled.
Stopping insufflation:
The STOP button is displayed while insufflation is running.
(2) Stop insufflation with the STOP button.

The actual gas flow rate display will show zero. The actual pressure display con-
tinues to show the current pressure in abdomen or cavity.
