FUEL SUPPLY CIRCUIT BLEEDING
The operation must be carried out every
time the fuel filter is changed, following
one of the listed procedures, according to
the engine model.
To avoid fire risk due to fuel leakage or
discharge, ALWAYS carry out this ope-
ration when the engine is off and cold.
Engines equipped with single injection
pump
Follow the procedure below.
1- Turn off the engine and remove the
ignition key.
2- Let the engine cool down adequately to
avoid being burnt.
3- Prepare a container of appropriate
capacity.
4- Loosen the screw (A).
5- Operate the pump (B) manually to
eliminate air from the circuit.
Interrupt the operation only when all
air has been discharged.
6- Tighten the screw (A).
7- Loosen fittings (C).
8-Rotate engine ignition key to position
1 to allow the opening of solenoid of the
pump.
9-Rotate and keep ignition key in position
2 (the engine rotates idle) to discharge the
air from the pump and from feeding pipes.
Release ignition key when the fuel comes
out of feeding pipes.
10-Tighten fittings (C).
11-Wipe out the fuel residues before star-
ting the engine.

12-Start the engine and run it at minimum
speed for a few minutes.
In case the engine does not start,
repeat the described procedure and, if
necessary, contact an Assistance Cen-
tre authorised by the manufacturer.
13-Stop the motor when you finish this
operation.
