RECOMMENDED LUBRICANTS

Oils of different brands can be used provi-
ded that they have the following features:
Viscosity grade SAE 10W-40 (-20°C
- +50°C)
Minimum specifications
• ACEA A3/B4
• API CG-4, CH-4, CI-4
It is advisable not to mix oils with diffe-
rent characteristics.

Classification SAE

Oils are classified according to their visco-
sity and use: winter or summer. The sym-
bol W (=Winter) identifies oils intended for
winter use. When choosing oils for winter
use, bear in mind the minimum ambient
temperature at which the engine must
operate. In the case of summer oils, bear
in mind the maximum operating tempera-
ture of the engine.
The illustration shows the minimum and
maximum operating temperature of SAE
10W-40 grade oil.
