For use

The roasting dish is suitable for oven series 200 and
400 (except BOP 210/211). They require the heating
element sold separately and the pull-out system. You
can also use the heating element for the baking stone
operating function.
Note: Remove the heating element from the cooking
compartment during normal operation.
1
Remove the cover from the socket on the back
panel of the oven. Insert the additional heating
element into the socket on the back panel of the
oven.
2
Insert the pull-out system into the lowest shelf
position in the oven.
3
Position the support rack in the pull-out system.
4
Place the roasting dish on the support rack.
For BOP 220/221 or in steam-baking ovens and steam
ovens, you can use the roasting dish without the
roaster function. For BOP 220/221, you require the
pull-out system sold separately. In steam-baking
ovens: Slide the roasting dish directly into the rack on
the side of the oven with the handles at the front and
back.
Note: In steam-baking ovens, you can only use the
roasting dish without the lid.
An induction hob is also suitable for roasting,
particularly the full-surface induction hob. Do not heat
the roasting dish when empty. This will damage the
non-stick coating. Do not use the roasting dish on a
gas hob or an electric hob with radiant heating
elements.
You can also cook large amounts in the roasting dish
with ease. You can prepare food well and leave food to
stand in the oven. The roasting dish will keep food
warm until it is served. Your kitchen will be clean and
tidy when the food is served - the hob will not be dirty
because the dish was cooked in the oven.
For slow-roasting, select a temperature between 190 -
220 °C and for fast-roasting, between 130 - 160 °C.
You can also cook large joints or fillets of fish in the
roasting dish - the oven has generous power settings,
heat supply and surface area.
You can sear pieces of meat in the roasting dish
without the lid and gently stew them with the lid on.
You can also use the roasting dish or the lid
separately, for example as an ovenproof dish.
Unlike with cooking on the hob, you can select the
exact slow-roast or fast-roast temperature.
Always ensure the oven door is closed when roasting.
Only open the door for a short time to turn, stir or
baste, otherwise the temperature will not be kept
constant. In the roaster function, the heating element
continues to heat up for some time after the oven door
is opened.
