Heater 071-B isa new and improved version of the
well-know heater V300, which is an air heater with a
water heat exchanger fitted to the exhaust to heat
the engine.
The heater operates in cycles, that is not running
continuously. When activated by the timer the hea-
ter starts within 10 sec. An operating thermostat
cuts of fuel supply when outgoing air reaches a
temperature of 100°C approximately. The fan conti-
nues to run. As temperature goes down to approx.
85°C, combustion is automatically restarted, and
contiunes until the temperature reaches 100°C
again.
The operating time is consequently dependant on
the ambient temperature. The lower the temperatu-
re the longer the operating time.
The heater can also be used as additional heater
when driving.
A patented shunt valve 1234891-8 is also included
in the kit.
This valve prevents noise and cold air from ente-
ring the passenger compartment through the ducts
when the heater is not in operation.

071-8
Värmare 071-B är en moderniserad och ytterligare
förbättrad variant av den länge använda värmaren
V-300 som är en luftvärmare med en vattenvärme-
växlare på avgasröret för motoruppvärmning.
Värmaren har cyklande gång, dvs är inte kontinuer-
ligt brinnande. Vid tillslag på tiduret startar värma-
ren inom ca 10 sekunder. En drifttermostat stänger
av bränsletillförseln när utgående luft når ca 100°c.
Fläkten fortsätter att gå. När temperaturen sjunkit
till ca 85°C startar förbränningen automatiskt på
nytt, och pågår tills temperaturen åter når 100°C.
Förbränningstiden blir alltså längre ju kallare det
är.
Kan även användas som tillskottsvärme under färd.
I satsen ingår en patenterad shuntventil 1234891-8.
Med denna ventil ljudisoleras luftkanalerna när väri
men är avstängd och kallras förhindras.·
