2.2 FUNKTIONALITY:
This unit is designed for use as a vacuum brake or clutch bleeder. It uses compressed air between
4.8 bar and 11.6 bar to build up a vacuum in the tank. By attaching the appropriate adapter (brake
hose) to the bleeder screw, the vacuum can be used to drain brake fluid from a hydraulic system such
as a vehicle's brake or clutch system. It can also be used to siphon a variety of fluids from reservoirs,
including the master cylinder of fluid from power steering
An automatic refill kit is included with this unit. It is designed for use with a standard brake fluid bottle,
1 litre capacity, to maintain an adequate fluid level in the master cylinder while bleeding the hydraulic
system. Instructions for use are included with the unit.
3. APPLICATION:
IMPORTANT!
The procedures below are to serve as guidelines for the use of this unit, in addition to these
guidelines, always follow the manufacturer's recommended procedures when servicing each
vehicle.
REMOVE THE OLD FLUID FROM THE BRAKE FLUID RESERVOIR:
1.
Park the vehicle properly on a flat surface and
switch off the engine.
2.
Clean the outside of the brake fluid reservoir
and the reservoir cap to prevent dirt from
entering he master cylinder when the cap is
removed.
3.
Remove the cap from the brake fluid reservoir.
4.
Connect the compressed air 4.8 bar to 11.6
bar via the nipple on the air valve (I) located at
one end of the cover housing (A).
