Import and export functions

7.14.1

Import/export of the configuration

The configuration data can be updated via a USB stick to load the data to other pumps,
for example. This simplifies setting work when using multiple pumps of the same version
within a metering line as not every individual pump needs to be configured.
Export to USB data carrier:
We recommend using an empty or newly formatted USB stick to avoid
problems when saving data!
In order for the USB export and import function to be executed correctly, a
suitable USB flash drive must be used.
For this, a USB drive that is not too large (up to approx. 8gb), in the format
[FAT32] must be used.
If the desired function cannot be called, the USB drive has not been detected
properly and should be formatted as described above. If the function is still not
available after the formatting, it is recommended to change the USB drive.

Preparations for importing and exporting databases:
1. Use a blank (formatted) USB stick
2. On the USB stick, create the directory 'ECOADD' .
3. In the 'ECOADD' directory, create a subdirectory with the name 'EXPORT' .
4. In the 'ECOADD' directory, create a subdirectory with the name 'IMPORT' .
NOTICE!
When using a USB memory stick, it must be formatted using FAT 16 or
FAT 32 as otherwise it will not be detected by the pump. The size of the
memory stick should not be too large as the data volume does not require
too much space and this could result in read errors.
