Alarm relay

The functional method of the alarm output and the response of the pump on an alarm can
be defined here. The alarm relay can be used to display when the pump goes to a stop
condition, in other words if it is switched off accidentally via the Display button.
This function can be used to display the operational readiness of the pump on a remote
monitoring unit.

Factory setting: Disabled in the event of an alarm
[Alarm relay] - setting:
1. [Main menu] :

3. Scroll up to [Alarm relay] using the scrollbar along the right edge of the screen.
4. [Alarm relay] - select.
ð Screen change for setting: [Alarm relay]
5. If required, select the 'Disabled on alarm' selection box.
(in the event of an alarm, the alarm output is "open")
ð The 'Disabled in the event of an alarm' selection box is marked ü.
6. [ Press the Next button]
ð Screen changes to the 'Show pump stop' prompt.
7. If required, select the 'Show pump stop' selection box.
ð The 'Disabled in the event of an alarm' selection box is marked ü.

The external alarm input, as shown below under

n Voltage-free contact (relay)
n max. external voltage: 230 V, AC/DC, max. 3 A.
n Reserve signal: Contact closed / opened approx. 500 ms
