additives (ethanol or methanol) may absorb moisture, and that
during storing causes separation of fuel mix ingredients and
formation of acids. Acidic petrol may damage the engine.
REPLACEMENT OF THE CUTTING STRING SPOOL
A cutting string spool is replaced with a new one in the same manner
as described in the chapter for "MANUAL ADVANCEMENT OF THE
CUTTING STRING".
AIR FILTER
A dirty air filter reduces efficiency of the combustion engine and
increases fuel consumption. Clean the air filter after each 5 working
hours of the chainsaw.
• Remove the air filter housing (43).
• Take out the air filter (48) from the air filter housing (4) (fig. X).
• Wash the air filter in warm water with soap.
• Dry and reinstall.
Do not wash the air filter in petrol or any other flammable
solvents to avoid fire hazard or release of dangerous vapours.
FUEL FILTER (CLEANING / REPLACEMENT)
• Unscrew the fuel filler plug (2).
• Use a wire hook or a hexagonal key to remove the fuel filter
through the fuel filler hole.
• Disassemble the fuel filter and wash it in petrol or replace with
a new one.
• Install the fuel filter in the fuel line, place it in the fuel tank (3) and
tighten the fuel filler plug (2).
When the fuel filter is installed, make sure no impurities enter
the fuel line.
SPARKING PLUG
To maintain reliable operation of the tool, check condition of the
sparking plug on a regular basis.
• Wait until the engine cools down.
• Disconnect the sparking plug wire (45) from the sparking plug
(50)
• Unscrew the sparking plug using a sparking plug wrench (50)
(fig. Y).
• Clean contacts of the sparking plug (50) (fig. Z). Set the gap
between the contacts and reinstall the sparking plug.
• Replace the sparking plug with a new one if needed.

All faults should be eliminated by an authorised service centre of
the manufacturer.
