PREPARATION FOR OPERATION
The multi-function garden tool is delivered as units to be assembled.
The tool components should be taken out of the packaging and
assembled according to the below instructions.
THE MULTI-FUNCTION GARDEN TOOL TO BE USED AS
A STRIMMER
INSTALLING THE GUARD AND CUTTING STRING SPOOL
The tool can be operated both using the blade with three cutting
edges and cutting string depending on your needs.
The guard (11) has double mounting holes. The guard should
be properly mounted depending on a working tool. The
guard should be mounted on two extreme external holes "a"
for a cutting string (middle long holes are common for both
positions). Whereas, the guard should be installed using internal
holes "b" for a blade with three cutting edges (see marking on
the guard) (fig. A).
• Properly install the guard (11) for the cutting string spool.
• Insert the tip of the hexagonal key into the spindle lock hole (22)
and lock the spindle (24).
• Remove the metal guard (27) by loosening the spindle nut (28).
• Tighten the cutting string spool (12) onto the spindle (12) by
turning counter-clockwise (both washers remain in place) (fig. B).
• Tighten the cutting string spool and remove the hexagonal key.
Do not operate the tool as a strimmer without the guard in place.
INSTALLING THE BLADE WITH THREE CUTTING EDGES
• Properly install the guard (11) for the blade with three cutting
edges.
• If installed, remove the cutting string spool (12) (proceed in the
order reverse to its installation).
• Remove the external washer (thinner) (26) from the spindle (24).
• Insert the blade with three cutting edges (25) with the hole facing
the external washer seat (23).
• Place the external washer (26) and metal guard (27) onto the
spindle (24).
• Tighten the spindle nut (left-hand thread) (28) locking the spindle
(24) at the same time with the hexagonal key inserted into the
spindle lock hole (22) (fig. C).
• Remove the hexagonal key from the spindle lock hole.
The arrow on the blade with three cutting edges should be
consistent with the direction of rotations of the tool.

INSTALLATION OF THE ASSIST HANDLE
The assist handle ensure better control over the petrol strimmer.
• Loosen the bolts of the assist handle clamping ring (14) and install
the assist handle (14) on the upper guard of the driving shaft (17)
in the most convenient position (fig. D).
CONNECTING OF THE DRIVE
• Place the driving shaft in the lower guard of the driving shaft (18).
• Loosen the lock knob of the driving shaft guard (13) on the upper
guard of the driving shaft (17).
• Slide the lower guard of the driving shaft (18) (hole "c" in the lower
guard facing upwards) in the upper guard hole of the driving shaft
(17) until the latch clicks (29) (fig. E).
• Press the protective guard in (30) and lock by tightening the lock
knob of the driving shaft guard (13) (fig. F).
INSTALLING AND ADJUSTING THE ARM STRAP
Switch off the engine, when the arm strap is installed and
adjusted.
A proper adjustment of the arm strap considerably facilitates
operation of the tool.
• Put the arm strap (10) over your head and arm.
• Put the clip hook of the arm strap (31) in the arm strap clip (9)
(fig. G).
• Adjust the arm strap so that the cutting element is positioned in
parallel to the ground.
• Slightly lean the cutting string spool (12) against the ground.
• Move the clip of the arm strap to obtain the best balance of the
strimmer.
• If the blade with three cutting edges is used, hold the blade
approximately 10 cm above the ground.
• Adjust the length of the arm strap using the arm strap buckle (10)
to ensure the most comfortable working position.
The clip hook with quick release mechanism is located at the
end of the arm strap. Use it in emergency situations, when it is
necessary to free oneself from the tool.
During operation, the strimmer should always be clipped to
the arm strap. Otherwise, the strimmer cannot be driven safely.
The operator or bystanders might be injured. Never use the arm
strap with inoperational quick release mechanism.
AUTOMATIC ADVANCEMENT OF THE CUTTING STRING
The strimmer is equipped with automatic advancement of the
cutting string. The cutting string will advance during operation,
when you press the spool against the ground by hitting energetically.
An excess cutting string will be cut by a metal blade (32) located in
the guard (11) (fig. H).
When the cutting line is torn off or its part is broken inside the
spool casing, the automatic advancement of the cutting line will
not be active. The cutting string must be advanced manually
then.
MANUAL ADVANCEMENT OF THE CUTTING STRING
Switch off the tool engine.
• Insert the tip of the hexagonal key into the spindle lock hole (22)
and lock the spindle (fig. I).
• Press the spool protection latch (33) (fig. J).
• Rotate and remove the cutting string spool cover (34) (fig. K).
• Thread ends of the cutting string through holes (35) in the spool
casing.
• Lock the spindle again and install the cutting string spool cover
(34) overcoming resistance of the spring (36) rotate until the spool
protection latch clicks in place (33) .
• Make sure the assembly is correct.
If it is necessary to advance a larger amount of string – press the
button on the spool casing and pull both ends of the string at the
same time until the lock latch clicks.
