Decommissioning
Note
The safe and all-pole disconnection of the product from the main power
supply is only guaranteed when the power cord is unplugged.

Unplug the power cord from the mains power socket.
The operation of the device is safely terminated.
6.2
Connecting the accessories
Note
All interfaces behind the service cover 17 are intended solely for Service.
►
Service cover may only be removed by personnel authorized by
Aesculap.
Combinations of accessories that are not mentioned in the present
instructions for use may only be employed if they are specifically intended
for the respective application, and if they do not compromise the perfor-
mance and safety characteristics of the products.
Any equipment connected at the interfaces must demonstrably meet the
respective IEC standards (e.g. IEC 60950 for data processing equipment,
IEC/DIN EN 60601-1 for medical electrical equipment).
All configurations must comply with basic standard IEC/DIN EN 60601-1.
Any individual connecting devices with one another is responsible for such
configuration and must ensure compliance with basic standard IEC/DIN
EN 60601-1 or applicable national standards.
Note
Only USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 devices may be used.

Patient data
In this area, preoperative patient data and data relevant to the surgery can
be entered.

Enter the patient data (name, first name, date of birth).

Select side for operation.

Select gender.

Physician profile
In this area, physician-specific profiles can be created, edited, deleted and
selected.
Note
The name of the surgeon can be entered or pre-set by selecting a profile.
7.3
Application/Application processes
Note
Applications can only be tests if all patient data is entered, see Chapter 7.1.
