8. Function check

8.1 Intervals

Function check

The MEDUCORE Easy regularly performs detailed self-tests
in stand-by mode (lid closed), and a short self-test every
time it is switched on (lid is opened).
The device status is indicated by a green and a yellow
status indicator or, in the event of a fault, by a red status
indicator.
Furthermore, the function of the device should be chekked
at regular intervals. Please observe the specified intervals
for these checks.
Weekly
Check the status indicators of the MEDUCORE Easy. The
device is ready for use when the green status indicator is
flashing in stand-by mode. If this is not the case, proceed
as described in Section "Troubleshooting" on page 39.

Every 6 months

Perform a function check every 6 months as described in
the section "Performing the function check" on page 37.

After every use

Proceed as described in the section "After use" on
page 31.
