10.1 Maintenance/safety check

10.2 Storage
Have the cleaned and disinfected device serviced at regular
intervals. Servicing, safety checks ([sicherheitstechnische
Kontrollen or STKs] in accordance with §6 of the German
law governing the owners/operators of medical devices -
only applies to Germany) and maintenance measures such
as inspections and repairs may only be performed by the
manufacturer or by specialists expressly authorized by the
manufacturer.

In the event that the MEDUCORE Easy is stored stationary
and is used rarely, if at all, between services, we recom-
mend the following.
•
Remove the battery pack/rechargeable battery pack
from the device. Briefly open the lid of the device and
then close it again. This completely deactivates the
MEDUCORE Easy.
•
It is essential to observe the servicing schedule even
with devices which are used rarely or are in storage. If
a service deadline has passed, the device may not be
used. Have service performed immediately.
•
Observe the temperature conditions specified for stor-
age of the MEDUCORE Easy (see page 47). Extreme
storage temperatures may considerably reduce the
lifetime of the batteries.
