Warning!
After providing resuscitation, check the state of
the electrodes and if necessary, press them firmly
onto the patient's skin once more.
Note
The Time for cardiopulmonary resuscitation is set
using the EasyView documentation and configu-
ration software.
Movement detected
If heart rhythm analysis (voice prompt: "Stand clear of the
patient! Analysing heart rhythm.") does not produce a re-
sult within 15 seconds, e.g. because the patient has been
touched or moved, the device repeats the following voice
prompt:
"Movement detected. Stand clear of the patient!"
The device makes a renewed attempt to perform heart
rhythm analysis. If the analysis is successful this time, the
device continues, depending on the result, as described in
sub-sections "Shock required" on page 26/"No shock rec-
ommended" on page 28. If, on the other hand, analysis
fails again, the following voice prompt is heard:
"You can now touch the patient."
The green display field comes on, the following voice
prompt is heard:
"Provide resuscitation. Alternate 30 chest compressions
with 2 breaths."
Perform CPR until you hear the "Stand clear of the patient"
voice prompt (pause lasts 30 - 180 seconds, depending on
setting).
Once this phase is complete, the device starts a new heart
rhythm analysis (from "Stand clear of the patient!
Analysing heart rhythm."). At the same time, the red dis-
play field "Stand clear of the patient" comes on.
