Operation
Note
As long as a patient is connected to the
MEDUCORE Easy, the device cannot be disabled
by the lid being closed. This prevents the storage
of usage data being interrupted by the lid being
closed accidentally.
Visual inspection/hygiene treatment
Check the device for visible damage and treat it hygienical-
ly as described in the section "Hygiene treatment" on
page 35.
Documentation of use
MEDUCORE Easy automatically saves the following data
each time it is used:
•
date and time of use
•
duration of use
•
patient's ECG
•
events, e.g.: times at which shocks delivered
•
any device faults which have occurred (self-test
results)
For processing and archiving, you can transfer use data to
a PC via the device's infrared interface.
For information on procedure, see the section "Adminis-
tering use/device data using EasyView" on page 33 and
the instruction manual on the CD: EasyView documenta-
tion and configuration software.
Replacing set of electrodes and emergency
kit
Dispose of the electrodes and the emergency kit (if used)
after one use. Put a new pack of electrodes and, if appro-
priate, a new emergency kit in the device.
