Change battery pack/rechargeable battery
pack
Replace the battery pack/the optional rechargeable battery
pack with a new one no later than when the yellow and
green status indicators on the front of the device come on
(flashing during stand-by, on continuously during opera-
tion).
Warning!
•
Never change the battery/rechargeable battery pack
while the device is preparing a shock ("Preparing to
shock." ) or when it is ready to give a shock ("Press the
flashing shock key!"). If you do so, you could damage
the device.
If the yellow and green status indicator should come on
during use, continue using the device. Only change the
battery pack/rechargeable battery pack if the red control
indicator comes on permanently.
If the MEDUCORE Easy has not been used between its 2-
yearly Safety checks [STK], it is not normally necessary to
change the battery pack/rechargeable battery pack.
Use only battery packs (WM 40155)/rechargeable battery
packs (WM 40150). To change the battery pack/recharge-
able battery pack, proceed as follows.
1.
Disable the device by closing the lid of the
MEDUCORE Easy.
2.
Press the red switch in the handle of the battery pack/
rechargeable battery pack and pull the pack out of the
device.
