6.3 After use

If you find vital signs in the patient, proceed as described
in the sub-section "Vital signs found" on page 31.
Warning!
After providing resuscitation, check the state of
the electrodes and if necessary. Press them firmly
onto the patient's skin once more.
Note
The Time for cardiopulmonary resuscitation is set
using the EasyView documentation and configu-
ration software.
Vital signs found
If the patient shows clear signs of life like responsiveness
and breathing during treatment, continue to apply basic
patient care measures. Leave the electrodes attached. The
device then continues to analyse heart rhythm at regular
intervals.
If the voice prompt "Shock required." is heard, follow the
voice prompts of the MEDUCORE Easy.
Information function
During use, the information key can be pressed at any time
to hear an announcement of the duration of use (in 10-
second increments) and the number of shocks delivered.
This data can only be output at certain points during the
sequence. It happens following the voice prompt "Attach
the electrodes to the bare chest" or after "Alternate 30
chest compressions with 2 breaths." (in the CPR phase).
Deactivate device
To disable the MEDUCORE Easy (stand-by mode), pull the
electrode plug out of the socket of the device, remove the
electrodes and close the lid.
