• Do not kink, stretch, or severely bend the steerable sheath.
• Do not use surgical instruments to grasp the steerable sheath.
• Do not use excessive force when inserting the steerable sheath into a vessel.
• Do not force the steerable sheath if signifi cant resistance is encountered during insertion or passage.
• Do not wipe the sheath with chlorofl uorocarbon based solvents.
• Ensure the steerable sheath is thoroughly fl ushed and free of air prior to use.
• Avoid contact with liquids other than isopropyl alcohol, blood, saline or contrast solution.
• An unsupported sheath (without an inserted device or dilator) may be susceptible to kinking during advancement or torsional manipulation.
12. U.S. Limited Warranty and Disclaimer
Oscor Inc. hereby warrants that if any Oscor Inc. product fails to perform within normal tolerances due to a defect in materials or workmanship, Oscor Inc. will
provide, at no charge, a replacement of Oscor Inc. product. This limited warranty applies only if each of the following conditions are met:
a. The product was designed and manufactured by Oscor Inc.
b. The product was stored according to label information.
c. The product was used according to its intended use.
d. The product was used by trained and certifi ed clinical staff.
e. The product has not been mishandled, reprocessed, or altered in any way.
f. The product was used before the "Use Before Date" marked on the packaging of the product (when applicable).
No representation or warranty is made that an Oscor Inc. product will not fail. Oscor Inc. disclaims responsibility for any medical complication, including death,
resulting from the use of its products. Except as expressly provided by this limited warranty, Oscor Inc. is not responsible for any direct, incidental, or conse-
quential damages based on any defect, failure, or malfunction of its products whether the claim is based on warranty, contract, tort, or otherwise. Some states
do not allow the exclusion or limitation of consequential damages and so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to Buyer.
