7.3.1. Draining the tanks
The tanks can be completely emptied via the
ball valves in the lower part of the tank. For
this, electric ball valves are available for the
tanks B2 and B3, and these are actuated via
the controller in "manual operation" or also
manually.
There is a manual ball valve on tank B1.
In order to prevent water from flowing into the
tank B1, the electric ball valve VA1.1 of the
filter F1 should be opened via "manual
operation" of the controller before the manual
ball valve is opened.
Return the system to its normal state after the
work has been completed. Check that all
drainage ball valves are closed.
When carrying out work on the tanks, the
•
water level must be lowered to below the
installation height.
After emptying the tank B3, it is
essential to ensure that the
pressure booster system P3 does
not draw in any air (deactivate
pump P3 immediately if you hear
a gurgling noise). Otherwise, the
pressure booster system P3 must
be bled.
