7.1. Filter
The filter F1 prevents coarser waste water
content such as hairs, textile fluff etc. from
entering the system.
The filter F1 has an automatic self-cleaning
function. The impurities are carried off into the
sewer via an electric ball valve.
Use only the process water from
Tank B3 for the filter backflush
and the cleaning hose connected
to the pipeline.
Never use drinking water.
Check the filter backflush VA3:
Start the backflush VA3 manually (see chapter
6.4.1).
The filter strainer is now flushed from above
with process water, and impurities are carried
off into the sewer.
If the filter strainer is heavily contaminated
often, it is best to
-
set a shorter interval for the automatic
self-cleaning or
-
to flush back the filter several times
daily (see chapter 6.4.1).
Also refer to the instructions for cleaning the
solenoid valve VA3 (see chapter 7.8.1)!
Manual cleaning:
1. Close the manual ball valve upstream of
the solenoid valve VA3.
2. Open the filter cover.
3. Remove the hose screw connection on the
nozzle.
4. Remove the insert with the perforated
plate. This requires loosening the clamping
screws.
5. Remove the filter insert and rinse it in clear
water. Clean with a brush if necessary.
6. Install the filter in reverse order.
7. Open the manual ball valve upstream of
the solenoid valve VA3. Before closing the
cover, perform a function test of the
backflush nozzle in Manual operation (see
chapter 6.7.1).
Version 2.5
Operating Manual AquaCycle 2500
A dirt trap strainer is installed upstream of the
solenoid valve VA3 of the filter backflush.
Inspect this occasionally for contamination.
The upstream ball valve must be closed while
working.
Remove filter strainer if necessary, and clean it
manually.
