INSTRUCTIONS
Remove and discard the needle assembly. Further disassembly of the M
Instrument is not recommended.
Transport the contaminated equipment in a closed container.
It is recommended that the device is reprocessed no later than 2 hours after usage.
Personal protective equipment (gloves, water repellent protective skirt, face protection
mask or protective glasses, see also instructions of the manufacturer for the detergent
and the disinfectant) should be utilized.
1) Open the device lid in the 22mm penetration depth setting to allow the best
possible accessibility for the cleaning of the internal surfaces.
2) Soak the device completely with the lid open for 5 minutes in tap water.
3) Flush the open device for 5 minutes under running tap water by opening the lid,
5 x cock and trigger the mechanism of the device each time.
• Multistage enzymatic cleaner
• Detergent tank
1) The detergent is prepared in accordance to the manufacturer's instructions of the
detergent.
2) Soak the device with the lid open completely.
3) Exposure time shall be at least 15 minutes.
4) During exposure time while device is soaked, open the lid, 5 x cock and trigger
the mechanism of the device. Pull and hold the white cocking slide back once and
brush the inside of the device for one minute to ensure that all accessible areas
inside the device are brushed.
5) Remove the device from the detergent.
6) Open the lid and rinse under running tap water.
7) Check on cleanliness, if soil is visible, repeat the above steps.
• Disinfectant on peroxide basis (peracetic acid)

1) The disinfectant is prepared in accordance to the manufacturer's instructions of the
disinfectant.
2) Soak the device with lid opened completely
3) During exposure time while device is soaked, open the lid, 5 x cock and trigger the
mechanism of the device.
4) The disinfectant exposure time is according to the manufacturer's instructions of
the disinfectant.
5) Open the lid, 5 x cock and trigger the mechanism of the device during the rinse for
1 minute under running tap water.
6) Wipe the device with single use, lint free wipe or towel and dry the lumen by an air
gun with compressed air.
