The following explains how to use X-zone Com's controls.
6.1

OPERATOR CONTROL PANEL

X-zone Com has an OLED display where the most important information appears. There are two but-
tons that operate with a magnetic pen.
The buttons have the following functions:
ON/OFF button allows
you turn the device on
or off.

TURNING ON THE DEVICE

To turn X-zone Com on, press the left button (ON/OFF) with the magnetic pen for about 3 seconds. A
countdown starting at 3 will take place on the display.

When you turn X-zone Com on, it will automatically attempt to log in to the GSM network and deter-
mine the GPS coordinates. The X-zone Com will not turn on if the battery is spent.
If there is not a SIM card in the modem, Error x21 "no SIM card" will appear.
