CONNECTION INFORMATION
5.3.1 Connecting to X-zone Com
PCs and X-zone Com connect via a RS232 connection cable or Bluetooth. When you use a RS232
cable, usually, the system assigns COM Port 1.
The Manager Software can search for the COM Port for the serial Bluetooth connection automatically,
or you can assign the COM Port manually.
Automatic search
5.3.1.1
If the software has been installed, its default setting is automatic search and it will search for a COM
Port. Make sure [AutoDetect] is checked, as shown in Fehler! Verweisquelle konnte nicht gefunden
werden..
Click [Connect] to start the connection process. The status bar will show "Searching device
at:" and will also indicate at which COM Port the system is searching for a device.

NOTE
To connect using Bluetooth, enable the PC's Bluetooth module.
The operating system will also have to assign a virtual ComPort
to the device. Further information can be found in Chapter 5.1.
