Device date & time: The time displayed consists of the
and the time zone, e.g. Central Europe:
Standard:
1.
Summer time:
2.
Clicking on the [PC date/time] button sets the device's date and time to the PC's current date and
time. It applies the selected time zone (UTC+1 in Central Europe). Check the PC clock's accuracy be-
fore synchronising the times.
Info: The Info Area shows the version number of the firmware, the identification number, and the X-
zone Com's current charge in volts.
Location: "Location" is where you can view the determined position data, the number of GPS satel-
lites used, and when the position was determined. Use "Interval" to set how often the GPS position
is determined. The example below shows an interval of one hour. (Fehler! Verweisquelle konnte nicht
gefunden werden.). Using short GPS intervals will expend the battery charge more quickly.
Click on the card symbol and the position of the device will appear in Google Maps, provided the coor-
dinates are available. You'll require a browser and internet access.

NOTE
If a GPS signal is available, the system will use GPS time.
If the clock is not set, the time at which the X-zone Com began
operation serves as the basis for the timestamps until a GPS
signal is received.
