MS Windows assigns a COM port number to any established Bluetooth connection. To view this num-
ber, highlight the device and click [Properties]. Then select the [Services] form (see Fig. 5.2).

The Manager Software identifies the COM Port automatically. To accelerate the connection process,
set the COM Port using the Manager Software.
5.1.2 Cable-based connection
Alternatively, you may connect X-zone Com to a PC's K2 interface (RS232) with the enclosed cable.
The PC normally requires a USB serial adapter for this.
If you are using this option, the Manager Software (automatically or manually set) will require the COM
Port number assigned by MS Windows.
