ASSEMBLING THE MACHINE TABLE
Installing the legs: Put down the table with its rear side on a flat, clean surface
(Fig. 2.1).
Open the hook and loop straps with which the four insertable legs are fastened at
the table (Fig. 2.2). Open the four eccentric levers and insert the four legs into the
holes provided. Make sure to insert the leg with the height-adjustable foot at the
front right. The front is marked by the applied stickers with safety pictograms
(Fig. 2.3 and Fig. 2.4).
Close the four eccentric levers. If the clamping force of the eccentric levers is too
low, you can use the screw at the clamping wedge to tighten the eccentric lever
further (Fig. 2.5).
Screw hooks for storage: Screw the four hooks onto the two hook holders. Sub-
sequently, press the holders into the profile rail until they snap in audibly. You can
shift the hooks with the holders in the rail (Fig. 2.6).
Safety switch: On the inner side of table, release the self-locking nuts and wash-
ers. Push the screws to the desired position. Put the safety switch on the screws
and tighten down the safety switch with the nuts and washers (Fig. 2.7).
Place the table on the four legs (Fig. 2.9). The height of the front right foot can be
adjusted (Fig. 2.10).
Safety shield: Mount the individual components of the safety shield. Push the
safety shield holder into the aluminium profile and position the safety shield over
the saw gap in such a way that it covers the front of the saw gap area. Tighten the
eccentric lever (Fig. 2.11).
Switch clamp: Fasten the cord under the table at the corner of the table, by rout-
ing it through the mounting hole (Fig. 2.12). Make sure that the cord is just long
enough for the switch clamp to automatically detach from the power tool when the
machine plate is removed.
You can hang the rest of the accessories on the screw hooks at the side (Fig. 2.13).
Mounting the parallel guide or angle stop
NOTICE
Note: The aluminium profile (1.13) is needed both for mounting the angle stop
and for mounting the parallel guide. It is not permitted to use the angle stop and
parallel guide simultaneously.
Parallel guide: Mount both stop slides on the long aluminium profile. Place the
stop on the aluminium profile of the table and close both eccentric levers
(Fig. 2.14). Loosely install the screws, washers and the square nuts at the stop
(Fig. 2.15). Push the aluminium profile onto the two square nuts and subsequently
tighten the screws (Fig. 2.16).
Angle stop: Push the angle stop into the guide slot. Loosely put together the
screws, washers and nuts as shown and insert them in the angle stop (Fig. 2.17
and Fig. 2.18).
NOTICE
For material thicknesses with a height of at least 15 mm, mount the aluminium
profile upright (Fig. 2.19 and Fig. 2.20). For material thicknesses lower than
15 mm, mount the aluminium profile flat (Fig. 2.21 and Fig. 2.22).

Make sure that the black end of the stop runs under the safety shield, to ensure
that the cover is lifted up correctly. Push the aluminium stop (1.13) onto the square
nuts. Subsequently tighten the screws.
Installing/removing and adjusting the machine plate
Removing the machine plate: Raise the gap insert slightly at the recess to unlock
it. Then pull the gap insert in the direction of the arrow. Now remove the gap insert
(Fig. 2.23 and Fig. 2.24). Unfasten the four screws of the machine plate. Raise the
machine plate at the recessed grip and remove it (Fig. 2.25 to Fig. 2.27). Insert the
gap insert for circular handsaws (1.3) again until it locks into place. You need the
second gap insert (1.4) for jigsaws or for routers (Fig. 2.28).
Installing the machine plate: Raise the gap insert slightly at the recess as illus-
trated to unlock it. Then pull the gap insert in the direction of the arrow. Remove
the gap insert (Fig. 2.36). Place the machine plate in the centre of the cutout of the
worktop (Fig. 2.37). Mount the 4 screws as shown. The machine plate is aligned in
the centre of the worktop in the process (Fig. 2.38). Insert the gap insert again
(Fig. 2.39).
Adjusting the machine plate: If needed, the height of the machine plate can be
fine-tuned until it is flush with the worktop. To do so, the height of the four sunken
hexagon socket screws can be adjusted. Furthermore, the two additional adjusting
screws underneath the worktop can be adjusted. Release the lock nuts and align
the height of the machine plate using the two adjusting screws, until it is flush with
the worktop. Then tighten the lock nuts again. Before starting work, always check
that the lock nuts are securely fastened (Fig. 2.40 and Fig. 2.41).
Mounting the circular handsaw
Circular handsaws with and without an integrated riving knife can be used. For
saws without integrated riving knife, using the riving knife accessory is mandatory.
To mount the circular handsaw, the machine plate has to be removed (see the
chapter "Installing/removing and adjusting the machine plate", Fig. 2.23 to
Fig. 2.28). First remove the gap insert, then remove the machine plate and reinstall
the appropriate machine plate. You can hang the gap insert that is not on use on
the hook. The mounting procedure for circular handsaws with integrated riving
knife is shown in Fig. 2.29 to Fig. 2.41. The mounting procedure for circular hand-
saws without integrated riving knife is shown in Fig. 7.1 to Fig. 7.18.
NOTICE
Compatible circular handsaws: Check the maximum diameters of the base plate
of your circular handsaw (Fig. 2.29). Always use circular handsaws with a riving
knife, with a max. saw blade diameter of 200 mm and max. cutting depth of 70
mm.
Fastening and aligning the circular handsaw: Place the machine plate with the
inserted gap insert into the cutout in the table (Fig. 2.30). Release the cutting
depth lock on the circular handsaw and retract the protective pendulum cover.
Place the circular handsaw on the gap insert, making sure that it is centred on the
cutout in the gap insert. Set the circular handsaw to the max. cutting depth and
tighten the cutting depth lock (Fig. 2.31).
Check that the circular saw blade rotates freely and check that the saw blade is
aligned parallel to the machine plate. The lateral parallel distance from the circular
saw blade to the outer edge of the machine blade should be approx. 103 mm
(Fig. 2.32), so that the saw blade is in line with the marking on the machine plate.
Circular handsaws with narrow base plate (distance from centre of saw blade
to outer edge of base plate is less than 128 mm): Attach the six side stops in
such a way that all side stops are in full contact with the machine base plate. The
two rear stops in longitudinal direction act as stops for the circular handsaw in
sawing direction to guarantee a firm hold of the circular handsaw when sawing
(Fig. 2.33).
Subsequently mount the four clamping claws at the long side of your circular hand-
saw as shown (Fig. 2.34).
Circular handsaws with wide base plate (distance from the centre of the saw
blade to the outer edge of the base plate more than 128 mm): Align the circu-
lar handsaw on the machine plate as described above. Mount the stops with the
clamping claws as shown at Fig. 2.35 (Detail Z). Subsequently mount the two long
side stops as shown at Fig. 2.35 (Detail X and Y). The two long side stops simultan-
eously act as stops for the circular handsaw.
Check that the circular saw blade rotates freely and check that the saw blade is
aligned parallel to the machine plate. If necessary, re-align the circular handsaw.
