Oil Pressure Gauge.
• Operation
The oil pressure gauge provides automatic shutdown of engine,
after critical pressure limits have been exceeded. This shutdown
will also prevent start-up. The release switch (5) allows the operator
to open the switch until start-up occurs.
1- When the engine starts and oil pressure reaches 49 kPa (0.5
kgf/cm2 7 psi) or more, the pointer (2) is detached from the contact
(1). If the oil pressure is dropped less than 49 kPa (0.5 kgf/cm2,
7 psi), the pointer comes into contact with the contact (1), the current
generated by the alternator flows as follows:
Full-wave rectifier - Shutdown lead - Release switch - Oil
pressure gauge - Earth. Therefore, the current is not charged
in the capacitor and stops the engine automatically.
2- When the engine is stopping, the pointer (2) is touching the contact (1).
Medidor de presión de aceite o manómetro
• Manejo
El medidor de presión de aceite o manómetro, provee el
detenimiento automático del motor, después que se han excedido
límites críticos de presión.
Este apagado también evitará la nueva puesta en marcha.
La llave de apagado (5) permite al operador abrir la llave hasta el
re-encendido.
1- Cuando el motor arranca y la presión de aceite alcanza los 49
kPa (0.5 kgf/cm2, 7 psi) o más, la aguja (2) se separa del
contacto (1). Si la presión de aceite baja a menos de 49 kPa (0.5
kgf/cm2, 7 psi), la aguja vuelve a contactarse con el contacto (1),
la corriente generada por el alternador fluye como sigue:
Rectificador onda completa - Conductor de apagado - Llave de
apagado - Indicador de presión de aceite - Tierra (Masa). Por lo
tanto, la corriente no es cargada en el capacitor y detiene al
motor automáticamente.
2- Cuando el motor se va deteniendo, la aguja (2) se toca con el
contacto (1).
