The engine can be started easily and quickly only by connecting a jump wire from a car or truck. Once the engine is started up, the battery is not necessary since the alternator supplies electric for spark.

An appropriate timing can be obtained by aligning the alignment marks on the crank gear and cam gear.

The crank gear and the cam gear have alignment marks to assure correct positioning of the gears when assembling.
