TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEMS
Pressure not even, i.e.
impulses.
Excessive vibration at
delivery.
A whitish liquid comes out of
the pump.
The impeller does not turn.
The fan does not engage
and/or jerks when the motor
is at high rpm.
The overdrive slips into
neutral.

CAUSES
•
Valve and/or valve seats worn or
dirty.
•
Suction of air.
•
Filter partially clogged.
•
Ring nut (A) opened and does not
tighten enough.
•
Pressure accumulator discharged.
•
Pump membrane broken.
•
The overdrive is not engaged.
•
Worn clutch.
•
Loss of spring pressure.
CURES
•
Replace or clean.
•
Check suction apparatus.
•
Clean filter cartridges or replace
circlip (B).
•
Replace the ring nut.
•
Bring to the right pressure;
see enclosed pump handbook.
•
Do not work with a broken membrane.
Replace the membranes as described
in the enclosed handbook. If replace-
ment is not immediate, empty the pump
of water and introduce oil (even old oil)
or naphtha to prevent rust forming on
the internal parts.
•
Make sure the tractor PTO is not enga-
ged. Engage the required gear, first or
second depending on crop requirements.
•
Replace toothed ring.
•
Remove the overdrive door, tighten
the block located on the selector
inside the door half a turn.
