As reported in previous chapters, you can transmit
the coded garment program directly to the machine
(via cable) or save it on diskette "A" using the FDU
or FDU-2 device, or you can save it on the com-
puter hard disk.
The reason for having the coding function in two
different menus is simply explained: they allow the
garment program to be codified in the simplest and
fastest possible manner.
For example, if the chain program is being modified
and you want to try it on the machine without having
to go through many steps , just enable the coding
function in the top menu (see Fig. 32) and the de-
sired coded transfer option.
However, if the chain program has already been
created and you want to transfer it to the machine
without making any changes, remain in the MAIN
MENU and select Chain, the coDify option and the
transfer system. In this function you also have to
select the group to which the chain to be coded
belongs from the table in the SUBFILE FAMILY
LIST, and the chain program will be selected from
the GARMENT PROGRAM table.
When a chain program is being coded, the com-
puter monitor will display the CODIFY menu where,
if an error occurs, you can check in what position
the coding was interrupted and what type of error
occurred.
The cOdify function in the MAIN MENU (see Fig.
33)- gives you various options for the coded pro-
gram saved on the hard disk or on the "DD" or "HD"
diskette.

Como se ha indicado en los capítulos anteriores, se
puede transmitir el programa media codificado
directamente a la máquina (via cable) o bien
guardarlo en el disquete "A" utilizando el dispositivo
FDU o FDU-2, o bien guardarlo en el disco duro del
ordenador.
El motivo de tener la función de codificación en dos
MENÚ diferentes es muy sencillo de explicar. Ha sido
creado de esta manera para dar la posibilidad al
usuario de codificar el programa media de la manera
más sencilla y rápida posible.
Por ejemplo si se está modificando un programa
cadena, y se desea probarlo en la máquina, sin hacer
muchos pasos con el oredenador en diferentes
MENÚ, es suficiente con habilitar la función
codificación en el menú de arriba (figura 32) y la
opción de transferencia del codificado deseada.
Si por el contrario ya ha sido creado el programa
cadena y deseamos transferirlo a la máquina sin
aportar ninguna modificación, entonces quedando en
el MENÚ PRINCIPAL se seleccionará la funcióni
Cadena, la opción coDificar y el sistema de
transferencia. Además con esta función se deberá
seleccionar, desde la tabla LISTA DE GRUPOS, el
grupo al que pertenece la cadena que se desea
codificar, y desde la tabla LISTA PROGRAMAS se
elegirá el programa cadena.
Durante la codificación del programa cadena, en el
monitor del ordenador aparece el
CODIFICACIÓN donde el usuario puede controlar,
en caso de que se produjera un error, en que
posición de la cadena se ha interrumpido la
codificación y que tipo de error se ha producido.

continuación
TRANSFERENCIA donde también en este caso el
usuario puede controlar el funcionamiento de la
transferencia del codificado a la máquina.
En el MENÚ PRINCIPAL, existe una función
denominada cOdificados (figura 33), que permite
gestionar el programa codificado guardado sobre el
disco duro del ordenador o sobre el disquete "DD" ,
"HD".
