The first four lines of this window are dedicated to
yarn running COMMANDS.
To activate these commands, select them with the
cursor and strike [ RETURN ] to enable them, or
else strike the rapid selection key marked with a
CAPITAL LETTER inside the command string.
Let us now analyse each command in turn:
1. De-activate: to enable this command, strike
rapid selection key [ D ] or else select this
string and strike [ RETURN ] to confirm. This
command is used to DISABLE the yarn
running monitoring system until it is re-
enabled by the command described below.
2. Reactivate: to enable this command, strike [
R ] or else select this string and strike [
RETURN ] to confirm. This RE-ENABLES the
yarn running monitoring system after it has
been disabled by the Disable command
described above.
3. Suspend phase: to enable this command,
strike [ S ], or else select this string and strike
[ RETURN ] to confirm. This command will
interrupt the MONITORING PHASE until the
NEXT PRODUCT.
4. Forced memory: to enable this command,
strike [ F ] or else select this string and strike
[ RETURN ] to confirm. This command
interrupts the MONITORING PHASE until the
NEXT PRODUCT. Memory resumes with the
next product to be manufactured.
The next three lines enable other windows to be
accessed for CONFIGURING THE SYSTEM for
monitoring yarn running.
A closer examination of these windows now
follows. They are opened by the following
commands:
1. General filters: to enter this window, use
the 'traditional' cursor to select the string
and
[ RETURN ] to confirm or else strike rapid
selection key [ G ].
2. sEnsor filters: to enter this window,
strike [ E ] or else use the cursor and
strike [ RETURN ] to confirm.
3. data Variations: to enter this window,
strike [ V ] or use the cursor to select the
required string and strike [ RETURN ] to
confirm.
