4.4 Installation and mains connection
To complete installation and start using your new coffee grinder-doser, all you need to
do is:
•
Ensure that the voltage of the mains power supply meets the required power
requirements and that the electrical rating of the system is adequate to support the
power absorbed by the appliance (see product identifi cation label on the side of the
grinder-doser).
•
Put the power cable plug (Fig. 7 Part. 1) into the wall socket provided at the place of
use (Fig. 7 Part. 2);
If it is necessary to use power adapters, power strips or extension cables, it
is mandatory to use products that comply with the certifi cation standards in
force in the country of use.

•
If present, set the thermal-magnetic circuit breaker located upstream of the power
socket to the 'ON' position (Fig. 8).
•
Turn the machine power switch (Fig. 9)to the 'I' position.

USING THE GRINDER-DOSER
5.1 Preparing to use the grinder-doser
When installation has been completed, the machine is ready for use and can be loaded
with coffee beans to be ground. With reference to Fig. 10, to load coffee beans it is
necessary to:
•
Place the hopper (Part. 1) on the
grinder-doser (Part. 2) and lock it into
the operating position by tightening
the appropriate fastening screw
(Part. 3).
•
Ensure that the locking slide (Part. 4)
is completely closed.
•
Remove the lid (Part. 5) and fi ll the
hopper with the roasted coffee beans
to be ground.
•
Close the hopper with its lid (Part. 5).
•
Gradually open the locking slide
(Part. 4) to allow the coffee beans to
fall into the grinding chamber.
•
At this point, the grinder-doser is
loaded and ready to go to work.
