EN
6. Place the vessel containing the oil on a horizontal surface and let it stand for a few minutes to allow any water in it to settle to the bottom:
•
Oil clean and free from water: the mechanical seal is in good condition and new oil can be placed in the system.
•
Oil with a very little water: this may be due to bedding-in of the mechanical seal during the initial operating hours, creating a negligible amount
of water.
•
Oil containing water and dirt; the mechanical seal must be inspected and replaced with a new one. The replacement must be made by an
authorised Service Centre;
