REMEDY
Lower the pick--up assembly
using the tractor hydraulic con-
trol valve lever.
Adjust the pick--up gauge whe-
els.
Prepare even swaths.
Replace bent or broken tines.
Reduce the inching speed or ra-
ke to get larger swaths.
Rake to get a thicker swath.
Straighten or replace the tines.
Adjust the gauge wheel height.
Reduce the inching speed.
Prepare even swaths.
Adjust stroke and pressure of
the swath windguard tines.
Replace the shearbolts.
Lift the reel as much as possible,
to prevent stone inlet.
