CONNECTIONS
© Turn off the power of all components
before making connections.
© Read instructions of each component you
intend to use with the deck.
Another set of LINE IN jacks are
provided on the front panel. If two sets
of LINE IN jacks are used (on the front
panel and rear panel), priority is given to
'the ones on the front panel and the ones
on the rear panel will be disconnected.

REMOTE CONTROL UNIT
Battery Replacement
1. Remove the lid.
2. Insert two SUM-4
("AAA" or "RO3")
batteries. Be sure that the batteries are
inserted with the negative and positive
terminals positioned correctly.
8. Close the lid {it clicks into place).
How often should the batteries be
changed?
The batteries will normally last about six
months. However if you notice that the
distance between the remote control unit and
the W-6000R
required
for operation
becomes shorter, the batteries should be
changed, Replace the batteries with two new
ones.
Precautions regarding batteries
Be sure to insert the batteries with the
Positive (+) and negative (-) terminals
positioned correctly.
Replacement batteries should be of the
same
type. Never use
batteries
of
different types together.
Rechargeable
and non-rechargeable
batteries can be used. Refer to their
precaution labels.
© Remove the batteries from the remote
control unit when it will not be used for a
long period of time.
© When the batteries are weak, replace
them as soon as possible.
© Do not heat or disassemble batteries and
do not dispose of them by throwing them
into a fire,
Remote Controlled Operation
When operating the remote control unit,
point it at the REMOTE SENSOR of the W-
6000R. The remote control unit may be used
within the range shown in the figure below.
Within 7 m
The control buttons on the remote control
unit function in almost the same way as those
on the front panel of the W-6000R, but they
have slightly different
names,
etc. For
differences,
refer to the table below.
Hereafter these differences will not be
mentioned except for special cases.
In the
"OPERATIONS" section, the button and
control names on the front panel are used.
