6.5 - How to change the rotor knives

The entire set of knives must be replaced
when there is wear, making it impossible to
sharpen and adjust with the counter knife.
IMPORTANT!
To keep the rotor balance, always
replace all knives. The unbalance will
cause vibrations and machine damage.
ATTENTION!
Turn off the tractor and remove
the ignition key before starting
the following procedure.
Remove the 4 bolts (D) and (E);

Open the rotor cover (F);

Remove the 3 bolts (H) that secure the

knife to the rotor disc (K);
Remove the knife;

Repeat the operation to remove the

remaining knives;
Make sure the knives' bolts are in good

condition. If necessary, replace them as
well.
Mount all new knives on the disc.

Close the cover (F) and secure it with the

bolts (D) and (E).
