Application
The Nogueira Soft spreaders have been designed to spread granulated or powder fertilizers, dry
organic fertilizer, lime, seeds, corrective materials etc. This product line includes the SOFT 600 model
for 410 liters and the SOFT 900 for a capacity of 600 liters. Their spreading range depends on the
specific weight of the material being spread, which varies from 9 to 16 meters.
Actuation
The SOFT spreader is actuated by agricultural tractor power take-offs, with at least 10 HP, at 540 RPM,
either category I or II.
Coupling to the tractor
The Soft spreader must be coupled to the three-point hydraulic lift system of the tractor, in the following
manner:
- Position the tractor so that the power take-off and the Soft spreader actuation axle are aligned;
- Adjust the height of the tractor hydraulic arms to the same height as the Soft spreader coupling pins;
- First connect the left hydraulic arm of the tractor, then the right arm, and finally the upper arm (3rd
point), after that lock the cotter pins.
Adjust the side stabilizers, so that the sideways movements of the machine are
constrained, avoiding the arms from touching the tires.
