6.14 - Adjusting the chain
Chain working with inadequate clearance
causes noise and can escape from the gears,
in addition to suffering premature wear.
Check chain slack every 50 working hours or
weekly and adjust as necessary.
Adjusting the transmission chain clearance:
The adjustment is made through the sprocket
wheel (A):
Loosen the bolt (B).

Push the sprocket wheel (A) against the

chain until clearance is released.
Then re-tighten the bolt (B).

NOTE!
After adjustment, be sure to retighten
the bolt (B), otherwise the tensioner
will loosen and the chain will be
damaged.
