REGULATING THE HANDLES OF THE THREAD
Before adjusting the handles is fundamental to adjust the needles as described
in the preceding pages. This sequence is important as the correct placement of
needles will prevent the same eventually hit the grips.
ADJUSTING OF THE DISTANCE OF THE HANDLES WITH THE NEEDLES
1- To facilitate the adjustment, remove the screw A and lift the frame knotmaker
(fig.94).
2- With the knotmaker unlocked, manually turn the steering wheel, by making
the needles go up the handles, as shown in (fig.95). The distance between the
tip of the grip and the needle should be 2 to 4 millimeters (note the fig.95).
3- If the setting for the distance above is required, loosen the nut F and reposi-
tion the handle through the terminal R.
NOTE: Repeat the operation on the other catcher.
