Machine Description and Characteristics

TOWING
This includes the range of towing vehicles, the mixing wagon can be coupled to. The tractor must be
adequately heavy, in order to guarantee sufficient drag and completely safe stopping, even when
completely loaded, and certify that the weight is not lower that prescribed by the applicable lawas on
towing weight.
In order to utilize the machine safety, it is necessary to operate it only by a single operator.

Machine Identification

IMPORTANT:
- The machine, without brakes, can only circulate inside the facilities of the customer/
company and at a maximum speed of 5 km/hr.
- The maximum noise ratings are as follow: with the milling machine 78 dB (A) / without the
milling machine 76 dB (A), below the levels as defined in NR15 for maximum noise limit for
continual or intermittent operation.

Machine Description

The VMN 4.0 / 6.0 / 8.0 machines are mixers wagons used for livestock feeding.
They are used for mixing and re-shredding several types of silage material for the purpose of preparing
adequate foodstuff for feeding cattle.
1- The essence of the machine is made up by the mixer bin:
* The mixer bin (can be integrated with the following assemblies):
2- Milling arm (in the milling machine): The milling arm is made up by two arms with the milling bin and it
is used for loading the bin with stored materials in the silo-trench.
3- Weighing system: The weighing system allows a quantity of material inserted in the bin for the
purpose of preparing the scheduled feed mixture.

Intended Uses

- Carefully read the entire contents of this manual before hitching the machine (wagon) to the tractor.
- Verify if the shielding parts are mounted correctly and in the proper locations and if the described
labels are perfectly legible, before starting to operate the machine.
- Learn how to use the mixer controls and become familiar with them, testing each lever and verifying
the respective operating modes as indicated in the manual.
- This machine has been designed and manufactured for mixing, re-shredding, and spreading forage
(animal feed).
- The machine must be operated, for sale operation, by only a single operator, who is competent, and of
legal age, and who is seated in the proper driver`s seat of the tractor.
- The loading of the silage material in the mixer bin must be done by adequate equipment so that there
is a safe buffer distance from the operator to the machine (thread blades, silo bucket etc).
