The WorkMaster pro and WorkMaster pro ET chemical protec-
tive suits are made of coated fabric (HIMEX
integral full face mask is made of composite safety glass. The
zip fastener is covered by a flap made of suit material for addi-
tional splash protection.
The zip fastener of the chemical protective suit WorkMaster
Industry runs vertically across the back and into the head
hood. For all other chemical protective suits, the zip fastener
runs diagonally across the front, from the left shoulder to the
right knee.
To regulate the climate inside the suit or to connect the suit to
an external aeration system for decontamination purposes, the
chemical protective suits can be equipped with a control valve
and a ventilation valve Aerotec AL or
tively, there can be flaps inside the suit which are prepared for
the subsequent fitting of a ventilation system. The ventilation
valves can be connected to a Dräger compressed air breath-
ing apparatus (e.g. PSS 100), a hose breathing apparatus (e.g.
ABIL-L-1) or an automatic switch-over valve ASV.
The gastight gloves can easily be replaced. They can be
equipped with additional overgloves to increase the chemical
and/or mechanical resistance.
The gastight protective boots are also replaceable. The chemi-
cal protective suit can be equipped with gastight integral
socks.
To facilitate the identification of the task group, the protective
suits can be marked with task identification numbers, if certain
rules (size, position, number of letters) are observed.
The chemical protective suits are available in four different
sizes.

Intended Use

The chemical protective suits provide protection against gase-
ous, liquid, aerosolic and solid chemicals
The chemical protective suits WorkMaster pro and
WorkMaster pro-ET also provide protection against blood and
body fluids as well as against radioactive contamination.
Restriction of Intended Use
For certain chemicals (e.g. short-warp ketones and halogen-
ated hydrocarbons), there are action time restrictions, depend-
ing on concentration, state of aggregation and ambient
conditions.
For information on mechanical, chemical and heat resistance,
please refer to "Suit Material Resistance" on page 32.
Avoid heat and open flames. The chemical protective suits may
not be used for fire fighting. For temperatures during use, see
"Technical Data" on page 30.

Approvals
The chemical protective suits of the WorkMaster series meet
the requirements of the European directive 89/686/EEC.
Depending on the version (see "Model Identification" on
page 29), they comply with:
— EN 1073-2 (protective clothing against radioactive
contamination),
— EN 14 126 (protective clothing against infectious agents),
— MED 96/98/EC (Marine equipment directive),
The chemical protective suits WorkMaster pro-ET without ven-
tilation and with ventilation version B3 with ASV also comply
with the German Fire Protection Association Directive
0801 : 2006-11.
All integral components (suit material and seams, visor, gloves,
protective boots, closure system, ventilation valves and integral
equipment) of the chemical protective suit are tested and
approved by an independent test institute in accordance with
EN 943-2:2002.
The EC type examination for the following chemical protective
suits was carried out by the notified body, FORCE-Dantest
Cert with identification no. CE 0200.
