7. Important notes on Operation of Optional Equipment

7.1 The lugs for suspension via chain slings each
have one hole for fitting a shackle. A 2-strand chain
sling can be hooked into the shackles. The permissible
tilt angle is max. 45°. Please refer to the following table
for a list of matching shackles:
Load capacity per
spreader beam kg
If the tilt angle exceeds 45° the lugs
may become deformed and/or the
welds may tear. This can cause the
spreader beam and/or load to fall.
DANGER
7.2 The additional lug in the centre can be exposed to
a maximum load that corresponds to the load capacity
of the spreader beam. Slinging gear can be hooked in
the lug via a matching shackle. Please refer to the
following table for a list of matching shackles:
Load capacity per
spreader beam kg
Overloading the centre lug may
cause deformation or falling of the
lug and/or the spreader beam or
toppling over of the load.

7.3 The lateral mounting hooks for the adjustment
hoops are suitable for hooking slinging gear. The per-
missible tilt angle of the slinging fear is max. 45°.
If the tilt angle exceeds 45° the
hooks may become deformed and/
or the welds may tear. This can
cause the load and/or spreader
beam to fall.
DANGER
7.4 The welding hooks at the face are suitable for
hooking slinging gear. The permissible tilt angle of the
slinging gear is max. 45°.
If the tilt angle exceeds 45° the
hooks may become deformed and/
or the welds may tear. This can
cause the load and/or spreader
beam to fall.
DANGER
7.5 The screw-mounted resting bases can be attached
or removed as needed. Please observe the correct
