The scrubber-dryer must be cleaned as soon as work is completed.

DANGER!
CHECK THAT THE SCRUBBER-DRYER IS SWITCHED OFF BEFORE CLE-
ANING IT.
•
Stop brush rotation and suction by pressing the relevant buttons loca-
ted on the start-up panel, see " Components - Point 1 and 2".
•
The electrical system must not be powered; turn the key to the "0" posi-
tion and then remove it.
!
CAUTION! MACHINES EQUIPPED WITH A BATTERY CHARGER ON BOARD
WHEN CLEANING THE MACHINE, TAKE CARE THAT NO WATER ENTERS
THE BATTERY CHARGER.
Cleaning the brush
For maximised brush cleaning, check the brush wear and tear looking at the con-
sumption indicator 19a (fi g.1); if the brush is in good condition, remove it and
clean it under a jet of water. If the brush is worn and must be replaced, see "Main-
tenance - brush removal and replacement. (fi g.8). "
Cleaning the squeegee
The squeegee must be perfectly clean for best drying. Proceed as follows:
•
Lift the squeegee by pulling up lever 1.
•
Remove the squeegee by following the instructions in reverse order as de-
scribed in chapter "Preparing the scrubber-dryer – fi tting the squeegee".
•
Carefully clean the inside of the squeegee under a jet of water.
•
Check the squeegee wheels and turn or even replace them if they are worn
out, or clean them under a jet of water if they are still in good condition.
•
Fit the squeegee back in place.
Cleaning the recovery tank (dirty water) and fi lter
•
Empty the recovery tank 2 completely by means of the drain tube 15 (fi g.1).
•
Lift the recovery tank cover and remove the underlying fi lter 3, then cle-
an it under a jet of water.
•
Clean the inside of tank 2 and hose 2a under a jet of water.
•
Fit everything back in place.

CAUTION!
RECOVERY TANK AND FILTER CLEANING SHALL BE PERFORMED
WHEN THE TANK IS FULL, AT THE END OF WORK AND IF THE MACHINE
IS NOT USED FREQUENTLY.
Cleaning the solution tank (clean water) and fi lter
!
CAUTION!
SOLUTION TANK (CLEAN WATER) 4 CLEANING SHALL BE PERFORMED
WHEN THE MACHINE IS NOT USED FREQUENTLY.
TO AVOID THE BUILD-UP OF DETERGENT INSIDE THE TANK, DO NOT
LEAVE THE SOLUTION (H2O+DETERGENT) INSIDE THE TANK FOR
LONG TIME.
•
Empty the tank by unscrewing cap 6. Remove fi lter 6a and clean it.
•
Clean the tank with a jet of water entering through inlet 5.
•
Fit fi lter 6a back in place with its plug 6.

DANGER! FROST HAZARD
WITH TEMPERATURES OF 0°C OR BELOW, CHECK AND EVENTUALLY
FULLY REMOVE WATER FROM TANKS AND HOSES AT THE END OF
EACH JOB OR IF THE MACHINE IS UNUSED FOR A CERTAIN PERIOD
OF TIME.
