Procedure for setting the springs:
When setting springs on sharp edges, pay particular attention to the ends of
the tension springs. Risk of injury.
Remove the inserted items from the stacking tubes.
Insert or release setting springs uniformly in all groups of springs.
For guiding the stacking platform uniformly and without friction, a symmet-
rical arrangement of springs between the 4 attachment bars is necessary.
An asymmetric arrangement of springs within an attachment bar does not
pose any problem.
Preferably release setting springs. Always leave the base springs inserted
if possible. Always release the springs on the lower fixing.
The steps «Checking the spring setting» (1) und «Altering the spring setting»
(2) must be repeated as often as necessary until the dispensing height is in the
region of 4 to 6 cm.
Providing that the items being stacked are always identical, it is only nec-
essary to set the dispensing height once.
The stacking stage consists of two parts: the wire platform and the stacking
basket. It is not necessary to remove the wire platform in order to adjust
the springs. However, it is easier to access the connecting strips if the
stacking basket is removed. It is not possible to remove the wire platform
from the top without tools.
Since all stackers are designed to withstand maximum loading, the springs
fitted to the equipment are quite sufficient for all commercially available
stacking items.
