Using the torque and angle wrench
Using the torque and angle
wrench
 Carry out the desired settings for the bolting
operation as shown in the flow charts in the
practical examples from page 48.
 Alternatively, load the sequence plans or
individual bolting operations created using the
SENSOMASTER software into the torque and
angle wrench memory and call these up.
Before beginning a bolting process with the torque
and angle wrench, the torque and angle wrench has
to be tared as described on page 26.
WARNING
Incorrect measurements due to moving
or loading the torque and angle wrench
during the taring process.
 Make sure that the torque and angle
wrench is not moved or loaded
during taring.
Actuating the torque and angle wrench
WARNING
Danger of severe or fatal injuries due
to incorrect measured values.
 Make sure that the torque value is
set correctly prior to use.
 Make sure that the insert and/or
plug-in tool which is used is seated
securely prior to use.
WARNING
Risk of injury due to unintentional
adjustment of the switching disk on the
plug-in ratchet.
 Prior to the bolting process, use the
switching disk to set the desired
working direction.
 Do not touch the switching disk
during the bolting process.
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to slipping.
 Make sure you are standing securely
whilst using the torque and angle
wrench.
 Ensure adequate freedom of
movement when using the torque
and angle wrench.
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to incorrectly
mounted plug-in tools.
 Make sure that the plug-in tools are
secured against pulling out by
engaging the retaining pin.
CAUTION
Risk of injury due to overloading the
torque and angle wrench.
 End the tightening procedure when
the set torque has been reached.
